GRANTS
Gangbusters Theatre Company is registered with the IRS as a non-profit organization.
Currently, the funding for our shows comes partially from ticket sales and private donations/sponsorships, but mostly from our own pockets because we love theatre that much. Gangbusters averages three productions a year, at a budget of anywhere from $3,000 to $15,000 per show.
We dream of owning our own theatre, where we can eat, sleep and live theatre on our own terms. We hope to have a space that we can design to fit our needs, and that truly represents the spirit of the Gangbusters. In this space we will give artists a home and audiences an education. We will be able to offer classes to the public, and rent our theatre to smaller, newer companies. We crave the flexibility, opportunity and luxury that a theatre space would provide us.
We are seeking grants to realize this ultimate goal.
